Tuna pie

Chocolate Jelly Cake

Bacon and prawn with blue cheese brochette

Traditional paella: luscious amounts of fresh seafood

Sangria

Chef's brownie
- warm soft fudgy brownie with topped with vanilla ice cream and a pine nut garnish drenched in a unique caramel sauce

Barcelona Breakfast:

Bacon, chicken and cheese sandwich roll
- fragrant bacon and chicken
- top with melted cheese
- rolled in a soft crispy toast. Absolutely delicious. Undoubtedly the best sandwich with fantastic texture

Iberian ham baguette
- probably one of the more expensive delicate ham

With the lovely montaditos, I find that Spain does lovely sandwiches with nice bread

Fried Cheese

Potato au gratin

Mix Fry

Garlic Prawns

Pinchos

- barbecue pork, over charcoal

Spanish Omelete

Barcelona Cuisine

The Catalonian gastronomy is characterized by its variety and influence of other cultures. Its origin goes back to the time of the Romans. Since then it has been obtaining recipes from the Italian, French, Greek, Provençal, Arabian and Jewish gastronomy. The result is a cuisine of great complexity with excellence.

The cuisine of Barcelona presents the characteristics of the traditional Mediterranean cuisine, in other words, it abounds in vegetables, fish and meats, all cooked with olive oil of the best quality.

Dinners:

Cod Risotto

Snails: Catalan style - grilled with olive oil and garlic

Zanzuela
- seafood stew
- fragrant, so different from a bouillabaisse, almost like a paella without the rice

Catalan Cod
- egg sauce over cod steak
- very pleasant

Almond Monkfish

Desserts:

Chocolate Mousse

Tiramisu
- perfect balance of sponge fingers and cream mascarpone
- good form

Raspberry Ricotta

Excellent truffles
- bottom right: raspberry hinted chocolate truffle sandwich between flourless chocolate cake with heavy cocoa dusting

Chocolate pudding

Spain has some really good food particularly pork and seafood with very unique flavours and totally brilliant desserts. If chocolates are that good in spain, I can't wait to be in Belgium or Switzerland
